What to Expect at your First Session
We ask that you arrive five to ten minutes early to complete the intake paperwork. The office staff will assist you with any paperwork, explain our confidentiality, financial and cancellation policies, and answer any questions you may have. We have a comfortable waiting room with magazines, puzzles, and toys. Your therapist will come and get you at the start of your appointment. Once in your session, your therapist will reiterate our confidentiality policies and check to see if you have any questions about the process. The purpose of the first session is for the therapist to get to know you and for you to determine if our clinic and your therapist are a good fit.
Cost:
Initial Session: $190.00
Regular Session (45 min): $155.00
Extended Session (60 min): $195.00
We accept most third-party insurances, and Wisconsin and Minnesota Medical Assistance.
Insurance co-payments are due at the time of your appointment.
As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and do all we can to receive payment for claims. However, because the contract is between you and your insurance company, you are ultimately responsible for any outstanding charges.
Sliding Fee Scale and Payment Plans:
A sliding fee scale (based on family size and gross family income) is available for those who do not have private insurance or medical assistance. A payment plan can also be tailored to accommodate specific financial situations.
Payments are due at the time of your appointment unless prior arrangements have been made.
Cancellation Policy:
Because the time of your appointment is reserved just for you, we ask that you call our office 24 hours prior to your appointment if you need to cancel for any reason. For any late cancellations or missed appointments there is a $50 fee charged to you, not your insurance provider.
