Lauren Zakowitz MS, LPC-IT
Preferred pronouns: She / Her / Hers
I began my journey in becoming a therapist to give people tools and support, helping them to succeed in creating their ideal life. Therapy is a place where I fully believe people should be able to bring anything they are struggling with, without fear of being judged or devalued in any way, and find support in gaining desired achievements. I enjoy working with a variety of clients including adults, adolescents, couples, families, and LGBTQI+ people. In sessions, I utilize evidence based therapeutic methods including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and others. The feedback I have received from previous clients is that they have felt heard, understood, and valued. Supervised by Amanda Downing, MA, LMFT
